Ryo's job at the Crooked Paintbrush is a way to make some money doing what he loves while meeting new people. But when Logan walks into Ryo's painting class, he realizes there are some things that can only be described as fate.
More than just a handsome face, Logan proves to be exactly the kind of Master Ryo has been waiting for. The kind of man who will test his limits while providing some much needed love and safety.
"If you like stories with a touch of holiday spirit, if you want to watch two men with opposite and complementary desires find each other's match, and if you're looking for a read that is very hot almost from the start, then you might like this short story."
"The care and love between the two men though is a wonderful thing to watch as is their hot, spicy sex... this was a good read and one I enjoyed."

Today's venue was a party for singles looking for holiday company. It wasn't the sort of thing Ryo wanted to host, but his boss had insisted. The painting was painfully simple, a Christmas tree in various shades of blues and purples with a multitude of presents. It was more about the wine and spending time with the other singles than the painting.
Ryo hated the idea he'd be spending his own holiday alone, but he couldn't afford to go home to Japan, even if he could get the time off.
He'd stopped into an adult store a few nights ago and purchased a sound, a small metal rod meant to be slipped inside his cock and hooked to his Prince Albert piercing -- a gift for a master he didn't have. He fingered the sound in his pocket. He wasn't brave enough to use it himself, but the feel of the thin metal rod made his cock fill with an aching need. With a heavy sigh, he slipped the rod back into its plastic protector, his cock hardening at the thought of the cool metal warming to his master's touch.
One man in particular caught Ryo's attention. In the spirit of getting to know each other for single's night, everyone wore a nametag, making it easy for Ryo to learn the gorgeous blonde's name. If there had ever been a hotter guy in The Crooked Paintbrush, Ryo hadn't been around to see him.
Logan was corded in hard tight muscle, his long sleeve shirt fitting perfectly over his sculpted body in such a way that nothing was left to the imagination. His pants were loose, but Ryo had no doubt beneath the man's waist was just as alluring as what he could see. His bright blue eyes were startling and his rich blond hair looked like spun gold.
It was absurd to even think, but every time Ryo looked at the gorgeous man, Logan seemed to be staring right back. Of course, Ryo was the teacher so everyone was looking at him.
Flustered, he continued the class as best he could, grateful most of the women in the room seemed too occupied with Logan to pay much attention to Ryo.
When the wine was gone and the paintings were complete, people started packing up to leave. Ryo quickly turned away and started cleaning. His cheeks flushed at the sound of the man's deep laughter. He absently twirled a paintbrush, much to the admiration of several women. Logan was young, maybe late twenties, but he had an age to him that couldn't be defined by years.
Shivering, Ryo found himself getting more and more excited. When Logan slapped his open palm with a paintbrush, Ryo jumped with anticipation. A paintbrush would never be enough, but the thick leather belt around Logan's waist would leave such a sweet, nice mark that would stay with Ryo for hours. Maybe even days...
Up close Logan was stunning, much to Ryo's disappointment. There wasn't even a blemish on the man that could make him seem more real. He was as beautiful as a porcelain statue.
"That man left quite a mess behind. Can I help you clean up?" Logan asked, his voice rumbling from deep within his chest.
Ryo's gaze flickered up to meet Logan's. "Please don't worry. Go ahead and enjoy the rest of the party."
Logan smiled, amused. "There's no one left."
Ryo stared around the room, realizing Logan was right. It was only the two of them and the swirling colors of the paint as it washed out in the large basin. "I can clean it up," Ryo said, quickly looking away before his eager face could give him away. "I don't mind."
But Logan didn't leave his side. "How often do you teach these singles' classes?"
Ryo blinked, "Every month, I think."
"Hmm, interesting."
"If you didn't find someone tonight," Ryo offered kindly, "Next time you might."
"I did find someone," Logan admitted hoarsely.
"Oh yeah?"
"I'd like to take you out to dinner."
