Almost Home: When Shannon’s car breaks down a quarter mile from her house, she braves the moon-drenched shadows and comes face to face with her destiny.
What Friends Are For: What girl would refuse the offer of sex from the sweetest, handsomest, most intelligent man of her acquaintance? The only trouble is, he’s my best friend. And I think I’m in love with his brother!
A Heart Concealed: Rafe Kutter is cursed … or so he believes. Lindy Timberlane sorely tests his resolve. When Lindy learns Rafe’s secret she’s determined to risk her heart to keep this very human and vulnerable bear shifter from condemning himself to a life without love.
By Blood’s Decree: Dana Hamilton has a few problems -- healing powers that make her blood ambrosial for vampires, self-renewing virginity, and a sexy vampire who not only makes her doubt her preconceived notion that all vamps are evil, but brings out her desires with a capital D.
"Almost Home is a werewolf novella that will leave you hungry for more. The story is well written and the premise is intriguing, ensuring you'll finish quickly."
"Told from three different points of view in the first person, she gives the reader a full spectrum insight into the workings of each characters mind. Each are well crafted and quite appealing."
"What Friends Are For by Kate Steele is a delightfully fun… The sexual atmosphere in this story is steamy."

Excerpt from What Friends Are For
I'm a heterosexual woman and I just came from the set of a porn film. It's a gay porn film in which my best friend has the starring role. Is that weird? At one time I might have thought so, but not now.
I met Mitch online. He read a story I wrote and e-mailed me praising my work. I replied and so did he and suddenly, we were exchanging e-mails on a daily basis, e-mails that became longer and longer as we explored the unexpected friendship that sprang up between us.
A month later, we'd exchanged phone numbers and the e-mails became hours-long calls that turned into short visits, that turned into vacations spent together and so on and so on. Until here I was, courtesy of Mitch, in the middle of the most amazing experience of my life.
I'm not ashamed to say that I actually own some gay adult movies. After all, men like watching women get it on. So why would the reverse not be true? For me, the idea of two guys going at it is very arousing. I decided to satisfy my curiosity. I'm glad I did.
I'd actually seen Mitch via those movies before we'd exchanged that first e-mail and I admit, I think he's hot. He's had the starring role in some of my most exciting fantasies. He's also the most amazing man I've ever met. Not only does he have a body to die for, he has an active mind and a sharp wit. We have long discussions about things like sex, family, religion, politics and current events. He reads the papers religiously and I sometimes feel inadequate at the task of keeping up with him. He's a very practical guy. I, on the other hand, am fantasy oriented, thus my career as a writer.
I've never met anyone with whom I could talk so freely. No subject is taboo, no aspect of life, love or sex too private, too embarrassing or too risqué to be discussed. It's an absolutely amazing feeling to have one person with whom you can share nearly everything. And I say nearly everything because, let's face it, we all have our secrets, our fantasies that we'd never reveal.
I've never told Mitch about his role in my fantasies, although I have a feeling he knows. I pretty much got over them within the first six months of our growing friendship, but I remember wishing that he had a twin, a straight twin. Imagine my shock when soon after we got acquainted, my wish came true. It was during one of our early discussions when Mitch told me about his brother, Michael. Mitch and Michael are twins, Michael being the oldest by about seven minutes.
The first time Mitch invited me to visit and I actually worked up the nerve to do it, I met his brother Mike. Mitch hadn't exaggerated. He and Mike are identical, on the outside. On the inside? That's another story.
"Mmm, this is good," Mike commented, tasting the seasoned ground beef that was simmering in a skillet on the stove.
"Hey! Get out of that," I ordered, turning from the open refrigerator door. "It's not done."
"Keep your panties on. I'm just taste-testing."
"Well, taste-test elsewhere. We're not eating until Mitch gets home."
"Speaking of my little brother, how come you're not attached to his hip today? I thought the two of you were inseparable."
"They're doing the orgy scene today. Some things even I don't want to see in person."
"And here I thought you were a die-hard fag-hag."
"You know," I said, closing the refrigerator door and turning to face him. "Some things can be said in such a way as to be affectionate or obnoxious. I don't appreciate your tone."
Mike Russel is gorgeous. I've already admitted that Mitch is hot and Mike not only inherited the same genes, he got them at conception via the same egg and the same sperm. He and Mitch are an even six feet, with light brown hair, brown eyes and the most lusciously kissable lips I've ever seen on any men anywhere. Add to that bodies that are developed by workouts that include a lot of weight training and you have the picture. To-drool-over knockouts.
While Mitch and I are buddies, Mike and I clash like fire and water. Whenever we're together, the air eventually becomes filled with steam. He may look like Mitch, but he sure doesn't act like him.
"Well, I'm very sorry about that, Adri. I didn't mean to ruffle your feathers."
"If I didn't know better, I'd almost think you had a problem with Mitch's sexual orientation."
Mike gave me a condemning look and actually, I was glad. Mitch loved his brother. It was good to know the feeling was mutual.
"I have no problem with the fact that my brother is homosexual. I have to admit, the whole adult film thing throws me a little when I really think about it, but I'm not going to condemn him for his choices. This is something he feels he needs to do, wants to do and it makes him happy, so fine. At least I know he's still planning a solid future for himself and not pretending that this thing is going to last forever."
"Mitch has a good head on his shoulders."
"As well as the one on his cock?"
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Just that you've seen it."
"So?"
"So just how closely have you seen it?"
I gave him a look of disbelief and raised one brow. "Are you asking me if I've had sex with Mitch?"
Mike paused a moment, opened his mouth, stopped and seemed to think better of what he was going to say. "Forget it," he answered abruptly and left the kitchen without a word.
I watched his retreat in confusion. Mike and I had our differences, but the disagreements never became ugly. There was always a teasing element to it. This was the closest he'd come to actually stepping over the line and I was left wondering what got into him.
