A man must struggle to travel home for Thanksgiving with a lovable oaf of a shower curtain ring salesman as his only companion.

While we're still dealing with the pandemic, we have the holidays coming up. While we're staying in and social distancing, there's no reason we can't be entertained. One of my favorite holiday movies for Thanksgiving is Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.

This gem of a sentimental holiday comedy starring the late John Candy and comedy legend Steve Martin hits all the right notes. It's wholesome, it's hilarious, and most importantly, it's a reminder that most of us are good people. It's a reminder that at the end of the day, we might disagree but we'll carry each other even so.
